Fr. Joseph Paul’s Christmas Cookie Appeal

It’s that time again!

(TL;DR - We need some financial support and I'll send you cookies - like last year!)

We are in the season of Advent, a time where we remember Christ's first coming and anticipate His second. Maranatha Lord Jesus! As friars preachers, it is our vocation to preach this message, from the pulpit and with our lives.

Looking at my own priory, St. Albert the Great, I can see us also remembering and anticipating. We are blessed with a number of senior friars, and we also have four novices here, whose lives as Dominican priests and brothers we greatly anticipate.

To preach this message and to support these friars, we need your help, both your prayers and your financial support.

During this advent, I want to try and raise $15000 for my community. It's a large goal I know, but I'm hoping that the spirit of Advent, along with some fresh baked cookies will do the job.

Here's the deal, I'm willing to bake loads of cookies and ship them out to y'all, via priority mail, if y'all are willing to help support the mission of St. Albert the Great Priory. To simplify things, I'm only going to make chocolate chip, peanut butter, or oatmeal butterscotch. (If you live in DFW I'm willing to consider special requests.)

I'll send two dozen cookies to anywhere in the continental United States, and I ask that you donate a minimum of $75 to our house. (This covers cookies and shipping!)

And you can send them as gifts as well - think about it.

If you don't want cookies and you want to donate - you can do that too, no donation is too small or unappreciated!

It's first-come, first-serve! All you have to do is fill out this google form - https://forms.gle/XPUDyrkRU1d8jfWi8 - and I'll confirm that I'm making you some cookies, and then you can support us by donating online or sending us a check.

I'll regularly post updates throughout Advent. Here's hoping and praying. Come, Lord Jesus!
